Petra Gilbert (54) โ€” she finished what her father started.

My father, Hans Gilbert, was convinced: What's on the market isn't enough.

Soft pads that give out after a few weeks. Rigid standard insoles that ignore the arch. My father was looking for a solution that actively supports the foot with every step โ€” not just passively cushions it.

When he retired in 2019, I found an unfinished prototype in his workshop. Next to it: sketches, calculations, notes on materials. All handwritten. He had been working on it for years without telling anyone.

Hans Gilbert passed away in 2021. I took what he started and brought it to market with our development team. 30 materials. 12 versions. 14 months of development in Germany. The result: stepzยฎ Relief Insoles.
